Extraterrestrial affairs commission in Denver. Initiative 300

Denver - If passed, it will create a seven-member commission that will be charged with looking into making contact with beings from other worlds. Its own language includes a provision that says no taxpayer funds should be used for the commission. Peckman says it will be fully financed through grants and donations.
Put it simply: If the measure is approved by the voters, Denver's mayor will have to select seven volunteers for a commission that will meet twice a year and gather the most compelling evidence regarding the existence of extraterrestrials and UFOs and put it on the city's website.
