USS George Washington S. Korea WarGames

Monday's exercises are reportedly focused on high-level training such as anti-aircraft defense drills and anti-submarine drills.
The anti-aircraft defense training includes the nuclear-powered US aircraft carrier USS George Washington which will shoot down hostile aircrafts once they are detected by radar.
The anti-submarine exercise focuses on detecting enemy submarines and destroying them using surface warships, submarines and aircrafts.
The high-profile four-day drill began in an effort to show a commitment to regional stability through deterrence following North Korea's deadly artillery attack on a South Korean island last week.
